Ethiopian coffees from the Yirgacheffe region are world renowned as distinctively floral and aromatic. We blended several heirloom varietal selections from the region to craft this complex representation of the region; Yirg for Yirgacheffe, Z for “zero defect”. Keffa’s Zero Defect Sorting takes 3 times longer than other coffees from the region. It enhances its clarity and intensifies the aroma of black tea, the peach sweetness, and grapefruit acidity. This coffee is triple sorted by size, color, and density until it reaches a point of near-perfection. Careful sorting and dedication is taken to ensure coffee is grown in harmony with the environment.
